These terms govern your use of Sprigkin. By creating an account, using the service, or starting a subscription, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

Operator and contact

Sprigkin is operated by Cluntra Inc. “Cluntra,” “we,” and “us” refer to Cluntra Inc. Contact contact@cluntra.com for legal, billing, privacy, or product support.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. Keep your sign-in credentials secure and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Your content

You keep ownership of the messages, memories, ideas, story beats, final beats, and drafts you add. You grant us a limited permission to host, process, and transform that content only as needed to provide, personalize, protect, support, and improve Sprigkin. This permission lasts while the content is stored and ends when it is deleted, except for limited backup, security, billing, or legal retention. Do not submit content you lack permission to use.

AI-assisted output

Memory extraction, recall, and draft starters can be incomplete or inaccurate. Review important output before relying on or publishing it. You are responsible for deciding how to use output and for checking that it does not infringe another person's rights. Similar output may be provided to other users. Sprigkin is not a medical, legal, financial, or emergency service.

Guided Story paths, sketches, and comics are AI-assisted creative output. Unselected paths are proposals rather than facts in your story. You are responsible for reviewing continuity, captions, dialogue, and images and for deciding whether to save, share, or publish a finished comic.

Price, free Guided Run, and automatic renewal

The current Web offer is Sprigkin Standard for $12.99 / month. Web Checkout has no introductory trial and charges the payment method when you confirm the purchase. If Standard is purchased through the iOS app, StoreKit may display a seven-day introductory trial to an eligible user. Stripe Checkout or the App Store purchase sheet is authoritative for the exact price, currency, taxes, eligibility, and first charge date.

A registered, never-subscribed account receives one lifetime-free Guided Story Run. Deleting the run does not restore that allowance. The free Run includes its rough sketches and final comic. During the Standard launch offer, image generation for Visual Sets and Guided Story images is offered as unlimited for a limited time, subject to fair-use, abuse-prevention, provider, safety, rate, and storage limits. The normal Standard base allowance is three Visual Sets per day. We will give notice before the launch offer ends.

Unless you cancel before the current billing period ends, the subscription automatically renews monthly and the payment method on file is charged the price shown at checkout. By completing checkout, you expressly agree to those automatic-renewal terms. We will give advance notice of material terms or fee changes as required by law and explain how to cancel before the change takes effect.

Stripe handles Web payment details, receipts, invoices, and the customer portal. If Sprigkin offers an iOS subscription, Apple handles the App Store purchase, billing, cancellation, and refund request. Web and App Store purchases are separate payment channels but should unlock the same Sprigkin entitlement on the connected account. Do not purchase twice for the same account.

Cancellation, access, and refunds

You may cancel online at any time from your account or profile under Subscription or Billing. A Web cancellation stops the next renewal and normally keeps full access through the already-paid period. An eligible App Store trial cancellation prevents the first charge if Apple processes it before the displayed trial end. After access ends, your world becomes read-only: your pet, memories, ideas, and drafts remain readable and exportable rather than being deleted. Resubscribing restores eligible features, but does not create a second introductory trial.

After Apple verifies that auto-renew is off for an eligible initial iOS trial, Sprigkin may present one optional additional seven-day StoreKit promotional offer. It is lifetime-limited to one per account and is not a Web offer. Apple controls eligibility and redemption. Accepting it keeps automatic renewal on after the extended trial unless you cancel later.

See the Cancellation Policy for exact Web and Apple steps and the Refund Policy for refund eligibility. Cancelling does not itself refund an earlier charge.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, violate another person's rights, or use it for unlawful, deceptive, or harmful activity. We may limit or suspend access to protect users and the service.

Availability and termination

This is an evolving beta, so features and providers may change. You may stop using the service or delete your data from Settings. If a subscription is active, we first show the appropriate management path and then allow you to explicitly confirm immediate account deletion. Deleting a Sprigkin account does not itself cancel an Apple-billed subscription, which may continue renewing until you cancel it with Apple. We may suspend access for a serious or repeated violation, security risk, fraud, nonpayment, or legal requirement. We may discontinue the service with reasonable notice where practical and will preserve export access where reasonably possible.

Our service and intellectual property

Sprigkin's software, interface, brand, artwork, and service content are owned by Cluntra or its licensors and protected by law. These terms give you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service; they do not transfer that intellectual property to you. If you send feedback, you permit us to use it without an obligation to pay you.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent law permits, Sprigkin is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. We do not exclude warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

To the extent law permits, Cluntra is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities. Cluntra's total liability relating to the service will not exceed the greater of US $100 or the amount you paid for Sprigkin during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot legally be limited.

Governing law and changes

California law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that mandatory consumer protections in your home jurisdiction still apply. Any court proceeding must be brought in a court with lawful jurisdiction in California unless applicable law gives you another right. We may update these terms as Sprigkin changes. We will post the revised date and give additional notice before a material change takes effect.
